Nous avons le plaisir de vous proposer ce très bel exemplaire de chronographe de la marque GIGANGET. Ce chronographe produit dans les années 70 a été commercialisé en l'honneur des Jeux Olympiques d'été de Munich de 1972. Le boitier est en très bon état avec quelques rayures de surfaces minimes (presque invisibles). Le verre est neuf. Le cadran est sublime reprenant un design "planche de surf" au centre de couleur blanc/beige. A noter qu'à cette époque les cadrans étaient distribués par VULCAIN. Il n'est donc pas rare de voir le même style de cadran estampillé "VULCAIN", souvent à des prix bien supérieurs. Le calibre est un calibre mécanique Valjoux 7733 révisé pour la dernière fois en 2022. Il affiche une belle amplitude ainsi qu'une bonne tenue de l'heure. La montre assure un bon déclenchement du chrono ainsi qu'une parfaite remise à zéro. Le fond est gravé du numéro de référence "1376" et surtout du logo des J.O. Cet exemplaire est très peu répandu sur le marché horloger. A sa sortie, Gigandet avait développé 2 versions: une en acier inoxydable (cette version) et une version plaquée or 18k (cadran blanc). Nous l'avons doté d'un bracelet en cuir noir avec surpiqures blanches venant rappeler les couleurs du cadran.

Plusieurs exemplaires affichent les anneaux olympiques ainsi qu’un cadran dit "surfboard" — typique des designs de chronographes rétro — et sont parfois distribués via Vulcain ou des réseaux partenaires. Une véritable pièce de collection pour les amateurs de garde-temps originaux et chargés d’histoire.
