The case is in good condition with only a few scratches and slight lack of plating on the side edges (see photos). Note however a lack of material at the bottom of the case (visible in the photos). The bottom gasket is present. Our watch has a crown signed Omega which is not the original but which suits it perfectly and ensures consistency with the thickness of the case. The glass is new, not signed and is free of scratches. The hands are in new and original condition as is the dial which is intact. We are not aware of the last revision of the watch but the caliber 601 displays an amplitude of 210 ° and a drift which alternates between -6 sec / day and +7 sec / day. We have equipped this watch with a new brown leather strap from the DUMONT brand. This watch is an opportunity for you to acquire a beautiful first piece from the OMEGA brand or to complete an existing collection.

How to set your watch?

  • Hand-wound mechanical movements :

A mechanical movement is wound daily using the crown of your watch. Wind your watch without forcing the stop in the case of a complete winding.

  • Automatic movements :

An automatic movement will find its energy through the movements of your wrist. So you only have to wear your watch to ensure its operation.

We strongly recommend that you set the time first and then wind your watch before wearing it on your wrist. Avoid setting the time between 9pm and 3am as much as possible, which is when the date changes.

  • Quartz movements:

You don't need to do anything to keep it running. If your watch stops, we recommend that you have the battery changed by a watchmaker who will recommend the battery best suited to your watch's mechanism.
