Our Zenith has come a long way! This beautiful vintage has had a makeover! A lot of work has been done by our partner watchmaker on the aesthetic but also mechanical aspect. The case is in good general condition with some surface scratches visible in the photos. The glass has been changed for a new one, the dial is the original one as well as the signed crown which has lost its plating especially on the side part (see photos). A complete overhaul of the automatic movement was carried out on this caliber 2542PC . Note that the cannon-pinion bears the scars of the past, so do not be surprised that the hour setting is not completely smooth. However, this does not prevent the proper functioning of the watch as well as its time & date setting. We have chosen a red leather strap to accompany this beautiful vintage Zenith watch. This watch simply has a story to tell without deviating from its main function of telling the time correctly every day! And that's what we appreciate at Drop&Watch... pieces that are sometimes imperfect but endearing because of their imperfections and their history.
